Welcome to the New Life Christian School web site!  Within these pages you will learn a great deal about NLCS.  We are located in the town of Norco; the Horse Capital of the World!  The area is very quiet and has proven to be an extremely safe environment for the children of NLCS.  Parents will find that we are easy to reach just off of the 15 freeway (6th St. off ramp).

We have offered a traditional school year (Sept. –June) since 1996.  Though, we also offer Extended Care (6:30 A.M.-6:00 P.M.) 12 months out of the year (check the calendar for holiday closure dates).  During the summer our competent staff offers a six-week summer school program for those children who need extra help in the areas of reading, math and language.

Take as moment to scan the teacher pages. Each class has posted pictures of the classroom and teachers, and is updated weekly with the class newsletter.

The weekly newsletter is a vital link between the teacher, student and parent.  On the first day of each week the teachers hand out a newsletter which highlights the main overview of lessons that will be taught in each subject for the week.  The newsletter will also inform parents of up coming events such as field trips, special chapel services, school functions, etc.  Parents will receive a copy of spelling words and the weekly Bible verse (NIV translation) as well.  Each newsletter will include a contact number for parents, either e-mail or home phone (phone numbers are not put on the web site), for the purpose of reaching a teacher if necessary after the normal school hours with any questions or concerns that you may have.  We have found that when we work together as a team your child will excel to their fullest potential and have a great experience during their schooling years! 

Within the web site you will also find the Philosophy and Statement of Faith of our school; which I encourage you to take the time to read. Our entire staff has a strong commitment to God and to the children under their care. It is our desire to honor the Lord Jesus Christ in all we do thus we strive for excellence in your child’s education.

We use the A Beka Book curriculum, which offers one of the highest academic programs that you will find anywhere.  We also offer a resource program (for an additional fee) in which students can get some one-on-one help four days a week if needed. 

We invite you to come and visit us.  We will be happy to give you a tour, and we encourage you to sit in on one or more of our classrooms. The children are always excited to show people what they’ve been learning at N.L.C.S.  I guarantee you that you will be impressed by the obvious excitement our children have for learning, the amount of knowledge that we teach and the love and care our staff has for each child in our classroom!  You are personally invited to observe within the classroom and watch how the teacher teaches, and how much the students have learned under their care.  We are sure that you will be inspired by their wonderfully creative style of teaching!
